membership

Through the financial support of members, Headway Victoria can continue its important work.
Through the allegiance of the organisation and its members, we hold a presence in the community that prevents brain injury becoming even more the "hidden disability".

Headway Victoria exists to support and resource its members.

Members provide our target audience for service provision, our reason for operation and are the organisations foundation.

Three benefits of membership from Headway Victoria:

(a) services and resources that are often not easily accessible at an individual level (e.g., advice, literature, practical assistance);

(b) an organised presence in the community that deals with issues that affect them; and

(c) the knowledge that they are contributing to a greater movement that is operating for their cause.

Members receive:

Free telephone advice, advocacy, and assistance.

Access to a large network of service providers.

Four editions of the state newsletter Headway News.

A Headway Victoria Identification card (launched and recognised by the Victorian Police for persons with an A.B.I).

Borrowing privileges to our text and video library.

Free Headway Victoria publications (for persons with an A.B.I and their families\carers).

Access to, and updates on, training and education programs Conference discounts.

Voting rights within the organisation (for individuals with an A.B.I and their family).

Participation in support groups.

Your support will enable us to face the challenges together.
